Nestled in the serene countryside in beautiful Lake County California (just north of the Napa Valley) the studio itself "oozes" a relaxed vibe which tends to have a positive effect for any voice over project.
Located in the "quiet zone" between San Francisco and Sacramento CA, OneGeoVO Studio is in Lake County CA which not only offers the cleanest air in all of California, but also the least amount of noise pollution as there are no heavily trafficked roadways, nor densely populated areas for at least 80 miles in all directions. Nor are we near any commercial air traffic corridors, all of which makes this the optimal "country quiet" location.
In addition, our studio is designed for the effective neutralization of interior sound reflections with both broadband and corner base absorbers. Out of this acoustically "dead" space is where OneGeoVO voice-over projects are brought to life.

A word about our microphones:
In general our Manley Reference microphone is used for most narration, promo, PSA and character work. The Sennheiser MKH 416 is utilized when that "larger than life" sound is needed, e.g. for station ID work. We employ the Blue Dragonfly for special projects, e.g. for longer documentary and other narrative projects when that nostalgic, "airy" flavor is appropriate.
But all this is just the starting point. We are never adverse to working with any combination of studio equipment to produce exactly the right level of tonality and detail for your project.
Bottom line - We are dedicated to assuring that the character of your project is brought to full fruition along the signal path.
